    Five investment bankers compare business cards and one of them starts to sweat. Eighteen lines, eight of them Bateman's, and the comedy is entirely in how seriously everyone takes the vocabulary — bone, Silian Rail, eggshell with Romalian type — so the read has to stay flat and admiring while the man saying it comes apart. Only two of the seventeen handoffs overlap and there is a seventeen-second gap before the eight-second line about subtle off-white colouring, which is the one everybody came for. The last line is somebody else noticing.
