Terms of use

Using this site means agreeing to these terms. They are short because the site is simple: you play in your browser, and your recordings stay on your device unless you choose to upload one. Playing and standard export are free. New video-to-pack creation is handled on DubBooth; existing projects and billing on this site are covered below.

What you may do

Play any pack, record and re-record freely, and export your dubs for personal, non-commercial use. Before sharing an exported dub, make sure you have the necessary rights to the underlying scene and audio. These terms do not grant those rights. Presenting the underlying scenes as your own, or selling exports, is not permitted by these terms.

Content and conduct

Community clips may contain strong language or mature themes. Check the scene description and script before playing. Report an unsuitable scene through Support; rights holders can use the copyright request page.

No attempts to disrupt or overload the site, to probe or work around its security, its credit accounting or its payment gating, and no scraping it at scale. Do not upload anything unlawful, sexually explicit, exploitative, or non-consensual, including any sexual content involving minors; anything you do not hold the rights to; or anyone else's likeness or voice without their agreement — this applies to challenge videos and to the video tool alike. Do not resell exports or packs, present someone else's scene as your own work, or use the site to harass anyone. Accounts used this way lose access, and uploads made this way are removed.

What belongs to whom

Your recordings are yours — they stay on your device unless you, as a challenge creator, explicitly upload your dub video (see below). Dub packs belong to their community creators, and the scenes inside them to the original rights holders. The Choicer Voicer game belongs to its creator; this is an unaffiliated fan site. Rights holders can request removal via the copyright page and we act on it quickly.

Uploading a challenge video

Creating a challenge lets you upload your dub video so it plays on that challenge's page. Uploading is optional and explicit — nothing uploads without you taking that step. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host and display the video on the challenge page for as long as it stays up. You affirm that you own the recording — your voice, your take — and you understand that the underlying scene footage remains the property of its original rights holders; uploading your voice over it does not transfer or waive anyone's rights in it.

You must be 13 or older to upload. The first time you upload under the current terms, you attest to that age; uploading without meeting it violates these terms. We may remove any uploaded video at our discretion, including for moderation or a rights holder's takedown request. Repeat infringement follows a ladder: a warning, then suspension of your upload privilege, then removal of the video in question — we do not need to run the full ladder before acting if the situation calls for faster removal. Rights-holder takedown requests are handled per the copyright page, the same as for packs.

Exports and account entitlements

Four things stay free, permanently: playing every pack, exporting your dub as many times as you like, access to every published pack, and your formal challenge attempts. Free exports include a watermark. An eligible existing paid account can export without the site's added mark when its entitlement is confirmed. Marks already present in the source footage remain.

New video packs on DubBooth

The AI Video to Pack link in the header opens DubBooth. Creating a new pack there follows that service's terms, account requirements and pricing. Accounts, projects, credits and subscription entitlements on the two sites are separate. Following the link or making a DubBooth purchase does not automatically transfer or change your entitlements here.

Existing projects, credits and subscriptions here

New purchases on Choicer Voicer are currently disabled. Packs you previously made here remain accessible through Your Packs. The following billing and refund terms apply to purchases and subscriptions made on this site, including any ongoing billing for those subscriptions. Credits here belong to the original video-to-pack tool.

Credits from one-time packs never expire. Credits from a subscription arrive monthly and each batch stays valid for 60 days from the day it is granted; expiring credits are always spent first. Editing a pack the tool made is free and unlimited — only running the AI processing itself costs credits. If processing fails, the credits for that job are refunded automatically.

The payment provider shown on your receipt is Waffo, acting as merchant of record, or Stripe; we do not store card details. Existing subscriptions renew until cancelled — you can cancel any time from the billing controls on your account page, and the subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Reversing a payment (a refund or a chargeback) reverses the credits it bought, which can leave a balance negative and may restrict purchases on the account. Videos you upload to the tool must be content you have the right to use, and the packs it produces are for the same personal, non-commercial use as everything else here. Rights-holder takedowns follow the copyright page, the same as for packs.

The honest limits

The site is provided as-is, without warranty. Browsers change, packs are community content, and a scene may disappear if its creator or a rights holder asks. We may update these terms; the date below is the version marker. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
