About this scene

SpongeBob is running goodness school for Man Ray, the lesson is returning a dropped wallet, and Patrick will not admit the wallet is his. Nineteen of the twenty-one handoffs overlap, which for a sixty-four-second scene means there is essentially nothing to wait out — the argument has to be performed as an argument. The comedy is in the line lengths going opposite directions: Man Ray's reasoning grows to a seven-and-a-half-second logic proof about the ID inside the wallet, while Patrick answers twice with nothing but “Yup.” It ends with Man Ray threatening to rip his arms off, getting tickle-belted for it, and having to laugh through the last three lines.
