    About this scene

    Goku throws his enemy a healing bean in the middle of a fight to the death, and everybody else loses their mind about it. The hard part is not Goku — he is the calmest person in his own scene — it is that Krillin's incredulous rage and Cell's slow, amused menace sit directly next to each other, so you swap register on almost every line. Eighteen lines in eighty-four seconds leaves very little gap to reset in. Cell's two chuckles are written into the middle of his sentences, not at the end.
