About this scene
Gumball's goodbye song to Darwin, which is a list of increasingly elaborate ways to get rid of someone set to a cheerful tune. Twenty-six lines and twenty-one of them are Gumball's, so this is a solo with backing rather than a duet — the other five are his own layered vocals, and eight lines overlap the one before because the harmony does not wait. It is sung, so the timing is the score, and the joke is that the nastiest lyric in it lands on the sweetest part of the melody.
