About this scene
Tai Lung is out of prison, Shifu has run up the mountain to say so, and Oogway would rather talk about fruit. Fifty-eight lines split almost evenly — thirty to Shifu, twenty-eight to Oogway — and the range inside them is the whole job: a ten-second speech about the illusion of control sits four lines away from Shifu's one-word “Twice.” and “Thrice.”, and fourteen of the fifty-seven handoffs overlap. The last line is spoken at two minutes forty, and then there are thirty more seconds with nothing to record, because Oogway is busy leaving. Our longest pack, and the one that earns it.
