About this scene
The bootleg-Garfield meme, twenty lines of it, and it never breaks the pattern: Jon accuses, Garfield answers, twenty times in sixty-seven seconds. Every caption is spelled the way the original spelled it — “garfielf”, “garmfield”, “grarfileld”, “lasaga”, “alram clocks” — and that is the joke, so read them as written rather than as intended. Two voices, strict alternation, almost no overlaps: the simplest structure in the library to hit and the hardest to keep a straight face through. One thing to know before you record the last line — Jon's closing rant runs about a second and a half past the end of the video, so its tail is outside the export no matter how you time it.
